Hey, support Blake Fleming

If you don’t know who Blake Fleming is you’re listening to way too much hip hop and heavy metal. But seriously if you don’t know who he is you have some homework to do.

I checked on The Coma and sucked at it and found nothing. I remember CBZ stating that SK designed the font from Cambodian writing….according to the INTERWEB, the record itself, and other sources, this record came out in 1972. I never saw this before.

I’ve been playing guitar for seven years, and the past two I’ve been really inspired by Omar Rodriguez Lopez and The Mars Volta in terms of composition. I’m sure that people who enjoy Omar’s music will get a kick out of what I recorded. I played all the instruments myself: bass, rhythm guitar and lead guitar, literally an hour and a half ago. I hope you will enjoy the music as much as I enjoyed making it.

kind of an awkward photo, but shows off televators tattoo.  tomorrow is 9 years since de-loused was released and i’m sure our lives have never really been the same since.

and I have more behind the scenes clips location scouting (also with Teri Suaréz) but in respect to Omar not sure if i can upload them or not until later down the line when his film is done. Love the blog as a tribute! Keep it up! Cheers.

Thanks for the submission! Hopefully Omar will get The Sentimental Engine Slayer and Los Chidos out on dvd soon! Yeah, I would wait a bit until the movie is done, so cool that you get to hang out with them!

In case our followers didn’t know about Teri Gender Bender from Le Butcherettes being in Omar’s new flick:

Out of nowhere Omar told me he is writing a script and would like to give me a part, which I think is a good idea, the film is called “Child of Hope” it will be an incredible challenge” — Teri GB (translated from Spanish thanks to FYLB

Here’s a cover I did of Televators not too long ago. It’s not the greatest, not exactly the worst either, but here you go anyways.
